This is an outliner, not a full clipper set. The T-blade sits flush to the skin, which is the whole point — it is what makes a lineup read as a line rather than a smudge. Necklines, edges, beard borders, and the sharp part of a fade.
The four guards run 1.5mm to 4mm, so it cuts very short and very precise. It will not take a full head down from long, and we would rather say that here than have it turn up and disappoint you. If you want a whole haircut, you want clippers as well as this.
